Streamline Photography LLC

My name is Kasia Rothe and I am the owner and photographer of Streamline Photography LLC. I have started my photographic journey at ago 7 when my dad and I developed black and white pictures in our tiny kitchen back in Poland. I remember the acidic smell of developer, fixer and the orange bulb in our portable lamp. It was amazing to see the image "come to life" minutes after the paper hit the first tray of chemicals. I've learned then the hard work of creating prints.

As years went by I shifted my artistic interest onto painting and drawing. Then at age of 16 I've moved to USA and right before I graduated high school my art teacher suggested I submit my artwork to our local Congressional Art Competition for High School Students called "An Artistic Discovery". I was amazed and excited to find out I won 1st place and received a trip for two to Washington DC for national ribbon cutting/opening ceremony. In addition, my artwork was displayed in U.S. Capitol Building for one year.

When I was 23 a friend from work asked me to take pictures of her and her kids. I've spend few hours outside with them just shooting and 5 rolls of film later I knew this is something I'll be doing for the rest of my life. Few days later I went out and bought my first SLR camera and my journey continues.
 
What makes my photography special? I honor traditional values with an un-traditional approach when photographing each event. I focus on telling the entire story – the emotion, the details evident from the moments of planning, and the unplanned moments that make your event truly special. I believe photography is a very special art throughout which I capture the spirit of a person and preserve it for a lifetime of memories. That's why my motto is "let's capture the moment - it will last forever."

I photograph each event with a professional digital camera, lenses and support of studio lights. I use a digital camera because it gives me ability to get creative and I am able to offer color, black and white and sepia photographs with a click of my "mouse." All photographs are retouched, color corrected, and printed at a professional photo lab. I always strive to learn anything and everything about latest photography technology so I can deliver exceptional quality work to all my clients.
